EBONY/CURATED 1-54 London Presentation Covered by Alt A Review

EBONY/CURATED has been spotlighted in an article titled '1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair Returns to Somerset House for 9th London Edition' by Alt A Review.

The 1-54 exhibition, a prominent platform in the global conversation on contemporary African art, showcased pieces from 48 international galleries representing artists from the African diaspora. The 9th edition, held at Somerset House, featured a record number of 20 galleries from Africa among the exhibitors, demonstrating a diverse array of perspectives.

Despite the challenges faced by various industries, including the art world, the exhibition marked a return to normalcy, with Touria El Glaoui, the Founding Director, expressing delight in welcoming back the usual number of galleries. The event included 1-54 Special Projects in collaboration with Christie’s, an online edition, and the 1-54 Forum, which explored themes of legacy, philanthropy, and digitality.
